Who we are
About the unit
We are the OMEGA Special Purpose Diving Detachment of the OMEGA Special Purpose Center, one of the most effective special operations units performing combat missions both in water and on land as part of the National Guard of Ukraine.
Over the years, our unit has demonstrated a systematic and professional approach to the most complex missions across the front line. Our combat path covers a wide range of operations, from diving reconnaissance and demining shorelines to special actions deep behind enemy lines. Our fighters have proven themselves near Enerhodar and Sievierodonetsk, as well as in special groups of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine.
An important element of the unit is the unmanned systems group, which provides the full combat use cycle of UAVs: aerial reconnaissance, artillery fire correction and direct fire impact. Using FPV drones and bomber drones, the group shows high effectiveness against enemy personnel and armored vehicles.
Our strategy is not limited to point strikes. We deliberately disrupt the enemy’s underwater and coastal plans, burn down reserves, destroy logistics and deprive the occupiers of the ability to advance.
The Detachment command has implemented its own management system, combining best practices of special operations with modern combat experience. Every person matters here, in a coordinated team where trust, support and professionalism hold the line.
Here we value motivation, willingness to learn, team spirit, cohesion and readiness to work together for the result.
To join the unit, fill out the questionnaire and pass selection. After a successful interview and all stages of selection, you become a potential candidate for service in the OMEGA Special Purpose Diving Detachment.
